Hi! I’m Laurel Woerner, and my mission is to help founders get from zero to one to one hundred. After working with hundreds of startups, I've tackled just about every challenge an early-stage entrepreneur might run into. That experience has given me the ability to see around corners, tell a company's story, find funding, build a team, and make things happen. I love the challenge of creating something new.
Work
At RRE Ventures, I lead efforts to accelerate the portfolio by working with founders from companies like GIPHY, Buzzfeed, Noom, and the Skimm to bring products to market and develop as leaders. I also launched the firm’s marketing activities.
At x.ai, an early-stage startup, I drove down churn through customer communities and crafted our media narrative as we pivoted the company.
At Work-Bench, I helped create the New York City hub for enterprise technology founders and Fortune 500 buyers.
I’ve built expertise in go-to-market strategy, brand creation, company launches, business development, talent development, and facilitating peer learning.
